Today I get to share with you wedding of Susi and Martin who were married in September all the way up in Scotland. They had palnned a small and wonderfully intimate ceremony at the Edinburgh Corn Exchange and I felt so honoured to be a part of their day. Every single detail was thought through perfectly. Susi had put her bouquet together herself and I loved the autumnal colours in it. She had also made the buttonholes – I loved how they were all different and they are definitely the best I have seen all year! The cake was made by family and friends and Martin had made the toffee apples for each of the guests. One of their friends had decorated the ceremony room beautifully with candles, flower petals and hanging paper doves. Hand crafted details are one of my favourite things about the weddings I photograph as they make the day so much more personal. It was great to spend the day photographing a lovely couple and their family and friends – and the pinata at the end of the night finished it all off perfectly!
