Winkworth Farm near Malmesbury is a light and spacious barn venue that was perfect for Charlotte and Rob’s rustic country wedding. Charlotte got ready at her parent’s family home where she grew up, just a short distance from the village church where she and Rob chose to marry. Rob enjoyed a pint in the village pub before the ceremony. Sadly not many photographs were allowed during the church service but there was plenty to capture for the rest of the day! It’s always advisable to check with your vicar before the day what their restrictions will be during the service – fortunately Charlotte and Rob were aware of the rules ahead of the day!

The sun shone and guests enjoyed the drinks reception in the walled rose garden where Rob’s younger sister kept them entertained with her flute playing. Charlotte and Rob were keen for some informal couple portraits that reflected their country roots so Winkworth Farm was perfect for this – I was especially pleased to stumble across the fields of sunflowers which made a great backdrop.
The speeches got some good laughs and Charlotte and Rob definitely win the prize for the most unusual groomsmen gifts – a spade each! And there was me just thinking they were there for decoration…
