This wedding will always have a special little place in my heart as it’s the one where my little brother got to be Best Man for one of his best friends. I’ve known Kat & Andy for a number of years not only through my brother but I used to go to Girl Guides with Kat and her two bridesmaids. So I was therefore really excited and honoured to be asked to be their wedding photographer. Given that a lot of their family and friends know me personally as well as one of my school teachers being there, the pressure was certainly on! We knew the weather wasn’t likely to behave and we certainly had to dodge a couple of downpours, to put it mildly. Kat and Andy had a VW campervan to bring the lads to the church in Leamington Spa and following the church ceremony a vintage double decker arrived to transport the guests to the wedding reception at Alveston Pastures, Stratford-upon-Avon. It was my first time at the venue and the best thing about it…the maze! It took guests until after the wedding breakfast and a couple of drinks to venture inside but it certainly made for some comedy photos! Kat and Andy make such a lovely couple and were great to photograph as they are so much fun and up for anything! It was great to spend the day in the company of all of their family and friends (even though I had a job to do of course!), and myself and Lucas wish them all the best. Massive congratulations to the two of you!
