Amelia and Colin chose the Lord Leycester Hospital for their civil wedding – and what a beaut of a venue for photography! The Lord Leycester Hospital is, not as it’s name suggests – a hospital – but a charming historic building in the centre of Warwick. It’s a beautiful venue for a ceremony with it’s high ceilings, candelabras and wooden beams and it has a lovely garden for photographs outside. As they married in Warwick we took the opportunity to head to Mill Gardens for some couple portraits. Mill Gardens sits on the banks of the river below Warwick Castle and offers endless possibilities for photos – I could have kept them there all day! Amelia is a woman after my own heart with her love of Pinterest in inspiring their big day. I love her dress hanger, the bottom of her shoes, the cute boxes she made for her bridesmaids, the pick a seat chalkboards, the scones and jam, the personalised wedding card sack and they also had what is probably my favourite cake of 2013 – a three tiered cake completely covered in hundreds and thousands, just amazing!
Without further ado, here’s their Lord Leycester Hospital wedding…

This venue is great for anyone wanting a unique venue with some character. The half timbered buildings with it’s courtyard and pretty gardens make a wonderful wedding backdrop and it is also a charity that supports ex-servicemen.
