Vintage Bridal { Severn Valley Railway }

So I confess, this isn’t a bridal shoot, in actual fact it’s a faux-wedding shoot I put together to show you all what I can do outside of real weddings, and what I have in the pipelines! I stumbled across Bridgnorth station whilst out on a day trip with a friend and instantly knew it was the perfect location for a vintage styled shoot. So I teamed up with some friends to make it all happen. Make-up artist Hannah Ford created the perfect flawless makeup that I was looking for whilst hair stylist Kerry Baines put together a wonderful up-do that had not a single hair out of place. Working with Lucas, who is my second shooter at weddings, everything came together perfectly. We sourced a fabulous vintage wedding dress as well as a 1940s military suit for our groom as we wanted to create a narrative within the images. Although bitterly cold, our couple were fab and we had so much fun. Not realising we had arranged the shoot during the school holidays we didn’t anticipate the amount of attention we would attract on the platform, but we certainly brightened up the day of the railway staff, that’s for sure.
