Vintage wedding photography by Jennifer Peel
I’m very excited to be able to share this wedding with you all as it has been featured on Boho Weddings (yay!). Elizabeth and Jonathan were married at St Mary’s Church in Kingswinford, with their reception at Benjamin’s Banqueting Suite in Halesowen in the West Midlands. Liz is a true DIY bride, making the invitations, favours, flowers and buttonholes herself as well as the wedding cake, inspired by Cath Kidston! She sourced all the china and birdcages for the table decorations and has since set up her own hire company, Tea and Lace Events. Her dress was a 50s vintage number and they had a vintage Plymouth car to fit the vintage theme (with Liz running after the owner when she spotted it in the street one day to ask if he could drive her to her wedding to which he accepted!) Sarah Russell did an absolutely fantastic job on her hair and makeup, definitely recommended for those looking for a vintage style. I love photographing wedding with a vintage feel so get in touch if you’re still looking for a photographer for your day!
